The Design 1 Fashion Event has possibly become one of the biggest fashion events in Grand Rapids every year, taking place in the blustery cold of December.  And this year, it was conspicuously absent from the roster of winter’s fashion events.  I’ve received the question untold dozen’s of times now; “What happened to the Design 1 event?!”

Fear not fellow fashion lovers!  The event now dons a new name, a new venue and (as happens every year) a fun new theme!  The Matthew Agency is proud to once again team up with Design 1 Salon and Spa, Aura Cosmetics, A.K. Rikk’s and our new friends at Visbeen Architects to produce: RUNWAY FOR CHARITY.

And this year’s theme?  CANDY CANDY CANDY!  Bright bold colors, soft pastel colors, dark chocolate and deep licorice red… the possibilities are endless, and hopefully so too is your appetite for sweets!

SAVE THE DATE:  May 11th, 2013.  This is a candy-coated fashion spectacular you will not want to miss!  This year the event will take place at the gorgeous new A.K. Rikk’s store location.  Proceeds will once again benefit the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital and this year we hope to raise more than ever.  Our goal? Over 100,000 dollars!
